Peter Coppola Teams Up With Survivor Glam Squad

Peter Coppola and the Survivor Glam Squad

Hair industry icon and owner of Keratin Concept Peter Coppola has partnered with Survivor Glam Squad, a non-profit organization providing female cancer survivors with self-esteem building opportunities. To celebrate the new partnership, Coppola and Keratin Concept will be at The National Women’s Survivor Convention at the Gaylord Opry in Nashville August 22-24, working with Survivor Glam Squad in providing beauty makeovers to help over 300 cancer survivors feel and look great. The makeovers will end in a photo shoot. Coppola will also speak at the convention about health, beauty and fitness and how to sustain gorgeous hair both during and post-treatment.

“I’m proud to partner with Survivor Glam Squad in their effort to inspire women and girls to feel confident and get back on track after cancer treatment,” says Coppola. “I believe that the stylist has the very important power to change the way a client feels about herself when she sits in his or her chair,” adds Coppola. “This aligns perfectly with the ultimate goal of Survivor Glam Squad, so the partnership seemed natural.”

This upcoming event will host an hour long presentation featuring Scott Hamilton, Olympic gold medalist and world champion, Shannon Miller, author and activist, Geralyn Lucas, writer and activist for breast cancer awareness and television personality and salon professional Tabatha Coffey. In addition to the celebrity speakers, Coppola will have an empowerment session exclusively for 30 women, and with the help from Coppola, his professional team and Coffey, 12 breast cancer survivors will be given the opportunity to model for the “Healing for Survivors” fashion show.

During the ongoing partnership, Keratin Concept will fund special Peter Coppola Survivor Glam Squad events by donating all products for the makeovers, providing Peter Coppola trained stylists and donating a portion of sales to the Survivor Glam Squad.
