On Thursday, October 14, Lierac Paris Skincare and NewBeauty Magazine joined together at Phyto Universe in New York City to present Advances in Cosmetic Medicine, an event that featured a panel discussion with four top beauty and cosmetic industry experts. The panel speakers were Dr. David Goldberg, a board certified dermatologist; Dr. Timothy Chase, a cosmetic dentist and co-owner of SmilesNY; Dr. Sharon Giese, a board-certified plastic surgeon; and Catherine Raubiet, a licensed esthetician and Education Manager for Lierac Paris. The evening, hosted by NewBeauty’s Katrina Haug-Brown, included a question and answer session, during which the experts answered questions submitted by audience members, and a discussion about the latest advances in cosmetic medicine and trends in the skincare industry. Topics ranged from Botox and new fat-reduction procedures like cryolipolysis to veneers and cellulite. The doctors also offered advice and suggestions to guests’ beauty and aging concerns. Raffle prizes consisting of complimentary offers, services and products from the event’s speakers and hosts were given out at the end of the discussion.
