Sebastian Professional, in addition to its ‘What’s Next Awards’, which is exclusive to stylists in North America, is inviting stylists from all over the world to participate and show off talent in the ‘What’s Next Challenge’. Planned to launch in July 2011, the competition tasks stylists to create hairstyles that reflect their interpretation of 'Cosmic Infinity', a theme based on the brand’s new collection of looks fueled by the Potion 9 and Shaper Hairspray.
To enter, stylists post photos of their hair creations to whatsnextchallenge.com. In November, the five top-voted entries will advance to the finals. Members of the Sebastian Professional Design Team will select an additional five finalists. A total of ten stylists will compete in an onstage battle in Berlin on January 15, 2012, to be judged by the Sebastian Professional Stylist Design Team. The winner will receive a grand prize trip for two to NY Fashion Week to work alongside the Sebastian team.
