Simply Irresistable

Texture and technique play starring roles in this beautiful collection from Jonathan De Francesco.

“The inspiration and name for my collection comes from the notion of recherché—a rare quality of refined attractiveness and elegance,” says artist Jonathan De Francesco about his latest body of work for London salon Brooks+Brooks, seen exclusively on these pages. To achieve a fresh styling perspective throughout the shoot, De Francesco thought of hair as fabric, twisting, coiling, curling and coiffing it to perfection with L’Oréal Professionnel products. The finished piece is a modern take on luxe looks that are brimming with texture. “The juxtaposition of the images makes such a strong statement—one that is au courant and simply stunning.”
