Sola Salon Studios provides more than 7,000 beauty professionals the opportunity to take control of their lives and careers by having high-end, fully equipped salon space for rent and continued support to launch their salon business quickly.

“When we started Sola Salon Studios 12 years ago, we wanted to put the salon professional first. Our biggest goal is for every stylist and beauty professional to work in their own individual ways and keep their independence,” said Matt Briger, Sola’s Co-Founder. “Sola’s expansion to our 300th location, shows that movement is resonating.”

Added Stratton Smith, Sola’s Co-Founder: “At our core, Sola has an incredibly entrepreneurial spirit, and it brings me great pride to make the entrepreneurial goals of stylists and beauty professionals come to life all across the country,” Smith said. “Matt and I started Sola to make independent salon ownership possible, while also providing a community that has their back. It’s exciting to see so many people from across the industry buy-into that vision.”

The 300th Sola location, at 24356 Swartz Drive in Lake Forest, California, is one of 64 in California, which recently hosted the latest Sola Sessions event, an education and networking initiative launched in 2016 with some of the industry’s top brands and educators.

Ben Jones, Sola’s Chief Executive Officer, said Sola plans to use its growth to continue to improve resources for Sola Stylists, including the Sola Sessions and Sola Pro, the organization’s digital platform that provides Sola entrepreneurs with training resources, education and discounts on top products.

“We’d like to continue adding education opportunities while expanding the Sola Sessions,” Jones said. “The 300th location opening isn’t about a building; it’s about our continued growth and success and that of our thousands of talented salon professionals. We look forward to seeing what each of our stylists can do to continue to improve and succeed for themselves.”
