Ultimate Beauty Companies Races for the Cure

ubc-komen-race-photoFor the second year in a row, Ultimate Beauty Companies (UBC) CEO Morad Zahabian, UBC, Senior Vice President Cynthia Heisser and a team filled with 85 employees and their families participated in the Komen 5K Race for the Cure in Orange County in late September. The UBC team has grown from 60 UBC employees and their families who raced last year, earning UBC the distinction of 2nd Place for the Largest Participation by a Small Corporation.

Participating in the race is part of UBC’s ongoing commitment to raising funds and awareness for breast cancer charities, a cause that Zahabian has a personal connection to. To date, UBC has raised more than $6,500 for cancer charities, including The City of Hope and Susan G. Komen For the Cure.

“I’m so proud of all of my employees who participated in such a great cause," Zahabian said. "The money we raised will help to develop new cancer treatments, raise awareness about prevention and early detection and ultimately save lives.â€
