Vito Mazza Salon & Spa Helps Hurricane Victims During the Holidays

Vito Mazza Salon & Spa hosted a “Season of Giving,” fundraisers scheduled throughout December of last year to provide much needed resources and assistance for local New Jersey communities affected by Hurricane Sandy. Events included a cut-a-thon, toy drive, coat drive, food drive and donating 10 percent of proceeds from all gift card and retail purchases. “We donated our time and talents to help raise $17,500 for Sandy victims. Our generous staff and clientele were part of the most successful month of fundraising in our 46 year history,” said Vito Mazza, Jr. owner. Donations were disbursed to a variety of organizations and relief funds in Woodbridge, NJ including Woodbridge High School Sandy Relief Fund, “We Feed” Woodbridge, Stand for Children and Union Beach Fire House. —Jennifer Barnes
