On September 9th at 8pm EDT, VivTV and Vivienne Mackinder will host a live web show gathering stylists in the hair industry to help support and raise funds for nationally acclaimed stylist, Maureen Anlauf.
Anlauf discovered she had Chronic Lyme Disease, which was undiagnosed for 15 years. Working as a hair stylist came to an end when she was unable to focus on her passion and was suffering from exhaustion. On top of having to stop working, the disease is slowly attacking the creative side of her brain. The only hope for full recovery is an extensive eighteen-month treatment that costs over $100,000.
The live web show will celebrate Anlauf's achievements as well as an include a education from Mackinder and Sue Pemberton. Priced at $19.95 for each member, the event will donate all of the proceeds to Anlauf.
