When the last day of school arrived, we celebrated with our friends with cupcakes and soda and then headed to the playground! With summer right around the corner, it is a good time to remember to slow down and reflect on what you have accomplished in your life and business. When was the last time you gave yourself a pat on the back for what you did right, rather than spending time thinking about all that you need to do? It is human nature to look forward and forget about what is available right here, in this moment.

Acknowledge yourself for the business you have built, for the employees and customers you have attracted, for the positive impact you are making in people’s lives. These days, making people look and feel good is exactly what is needed. Yes, you may be experiencing a longer time span between client visits, yet they are still coming to see you. When you put your attention on what you are grateful for, you will receive more of that. When you are focusing on lack, you will receive more of that. Which do you want more of?
