If you've ever drooled over one of Beyonce or Zendaya's hairstyles, there's a good chance celebrity stylist Kim Kimble is the mastermind to thank. Now, Kimble is using her years of experience working with textured hair to develop her own line of products.
"In my years as hairstylist, people have always come to me with problems they are facing with their hair and I love solving those problems," Kimble says. "This collection is an affordable solution to problems many people with natural hair face." The six-piece eponymous line, sold exclusively at Sally Beauty, includes everything from a leave-in conditioner and repair serum to a curl creme and shine spray—all of which refers to as the answer to perfectly styled, healthy curls.
Despite a somewhat crowded product space, Kimble rests comfortably knowing her experience sets her line apart. In addition to being a naturally curly girl herself, Kimble has been a professional hairstylist for 30-plus years. "I have taken all my experiences and put them into these hybrid formulas that give you professional quality at home," Kimble says.
Although the line was curated with curly hair in mind, Kimble says there's something for everyone. "There are products in the line, like the Shine Spray and Repair Serum, that would work on all hair types," she adds. As for the future of the line, Kimble says there's more on the way. "There’s always a new hair care concern to address," she says. "We're working on more products right now!"
