What our editor's are loving this month:

Paramore lead singer and Grammy Award winner Hayley Williams and her longtime Nashville-based colorist Brian O’Connor have launched Good Dye Young, a “beautifully obnoxious” collection of five unapologetic colors: Rock Lobster (red), Blue Ruin (blue), Ex-Girl (pink), and Hayley’s favorites, Steal My Sunshine (yellow) and Riot! (orange). “The definition of self-expression is when you wake up in the morning and ask, who do I want to be today?” says Williams, who has used her ever-changing hair color to express her rebellious spirit.

Men’s grooming guru, “Andrew Does Hair” (@AndrewDoesHair), recently wrote his first business book. But instead of going the normal publishing route, he decided to shake things up and share his entire story on Instagram. He photographed each page of his book, Typical Cosmetology Stuff, and set up an Instagram account (@AHDbook), allowing the book to live online. Why Instagram? Many of his of his followers often commented, “you should write a book.” So the hesitant author answered their requests, but with a warning. “I should warn you that I have no real experience with writing—except for the brief and limited rants I’ve posted on Instagram over the past few years.” Going with the medium he knew best, avoiding the traditional publishing houses, he instantly fed his loyal group of followers.

The Rosemary-Mint Tea blend is the newest addition to the Gourmet Mineral Bath Soaks collection by FarmHouse Fresh. For the ultimate relaxing aromatherapy session, fill the provided tea bag with the desired amount of bath soak, clip it closed, and then place into your clients’ pedi-bath. A reusable, attached cork floats to the surface and keeps the tea bag from sinking, preventing the contents from seeping into the drain for easier cleanup. The blend can also be used to enhance fragrance for spa towels, and it can be added as a retail item in your salon.
