How To: Amy Adams' Cascading Waves

Amy Adams looked beyond spectacular on the Golden Globes red carpet, with a romantic, flowing wavy look created by celebrity master-stylist Laini Reeves for Pai-Shau. Her stunning gown was by Versace.

The hair was dramatically soft and very beautiful, with cascading waves that looked natural yet very modern and sophisticated. “Amy’s hair is longer now,” said Reeves, “and we decided that the waves and center part would feel more Versace. The dress is so perfect and done that I felt a softer hair look would complement the dress and look absolutely beautiful.”

 How to get the look:

 1. Reeves started with a hydrating shampoo (Pai-Shau Replenishing Hair Cleanser) and used the “it-mask of the moment”, Pai-Shau Supreme Revitalizing Mask to deeply hydrate and add volume and shine.

 2. Next, Reeves used Pai-Shau Biphasic Infusion on damp hair, to instantly defrizz and smooth. “It works deeper and longer, and it’s lighter than anything out there,” explained Reeves. “Best of all it’s really weightless and lets hair move.  Since it also protects hair from the heat of the dryer and curling iron, it’s become my new must-have.”

 3. Before styling, Reeves applied new Pai-Shau Royal Abundance Mousse with Pai-Shau’s Signature Exotic Tea Complex, to give weightless structure, then blow dried and used a 2” inch curling iron, twisting strands before wrapping them around for a freer look.

 4. To finish, Reeves used new new Pai-Shau Sublime Hold Hairspray for a soft, effortless and touchable hold.
