The Big Chop
We’re going to see big chops this fall, says Fekkai stylist Alessandra Bruno. A lot of clients have been loving their long hair all summer and I think everyone is ready for a change! I think we’ll see more shoulder-grazing haircuts with interior layers for movement or mid-length cuts. Face-framing is big right now too. Short hair is fun and playful, it’s versatile and can require less styling depending on your hair texture. Summer can be tough on hair, so fall is the perfect time for doing a big chop and getting hair back in good condition.
Natural Hair
Fall is the best time for a color change, says Fekkai colorist Krystel Cuadra. After months in the sun many will be looking to change their overly lightened and oxidized locks. This fall we will see people looking to embrace their natural hair colors with just a few carefully placed highlights. Think: Hailey Bieber's gorgeous au natural look.
Auburn/Copper
One of my favorite trends I'm most excited for is the embrace of auburn/copper, adds Cuadra. I think we all want Sadie Sink's stunning color.
Chestnut
Brunettes will ultimately go a little deeper towards a cool chestnut or opt for playful tone-on-tone highlights to add dimension, says Cuadra.
