With the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic becoming more manageable, celebrity stylist Marco Pelusi decided he wanted to give something back to the frontline heroes who worked so hard to keep us safe.
One of Pelusi's longtime clients, the head of UCLA Nursing, helped him identify five deserving nurses from Los Angeles-based UCLA hospitals—all who had been lauded as “Nurses of the Year”—for beauty makeovers at his eponymously-named salon. Each nurse will be treated to a new hair style, haircolor and makeup application by a team of beauty professionals.
“These nurses have given their all and then some over the last year and I wanted to say ‘thank you’ in some way," Pelusi says. The all-day event takes place on Sunday, August 1st.
